I'm gonna miss this.

It came, not sure how, but here am I, my last week in the mission field. It's indescribable, sad but happy, exciting but nervous. Still doesn't feel real but I know it is.

I'm incredibly grateful for my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ. I have learned so much about them during these wonderful 2 years and never want to stop learning about their plan for me and their Gospel.

I love Argentina, this country and its culture have taught me so much. I especially love the people, being here talking to all kinds of different people in different circumstances and situations has taught me so much. I'm so grateful for all the people I've met here that have changed my life.

I'll miss this place like crazy, I can't thank my Father in Heaven enough for the experiences he's given me. I am a new person, I feel as if I have been born again.

I'll miss you Argentina.

The Golden Familia

Welp, a killer week it was! It was wild but quite good.

On Wednesday we went to Rawson for a blitz and all went hard. Then we slept in the house of Krawse. We woke up and went to Media Agua the next day for exchanges. We had some super awesome lessons and felt the Spirit muy good. When we got back to Pocito we cleaned out the baptismal font cause it was kinda gross. We purchased a wire brush and went to town on it. We got her all clean and then fixed the hot water and so we were all set!

The Elderes of Media Agua stayed in our apartment and we put the 2 mattresses we have together to make... mega bed! Then us 3 slept on it but my comp must be shy because he didn't wanna sleep with the homies.

We woke up at 6am and zoomed to the church and turned on that good hot water and then went back and changed and then went back to set up - it was fantastic! I was able to baptize the mother and daughter, and it was an awesome experience! I love the Gospel!

The next day at church, they were all confirmed and the Dad shared his testimony and it was sooo good. He for real- it sounded like he had been a member of the church forever.

It was an amazing week!

I love the family Albeiro with all my heart! I love you guys too!

Vamos Las Familias Eternas

Twas a good week, as always in el campo misional. Transfer news came and indeed I was quite uninteresting, we stayed the same. I shall be finishing my misión here with Elder Escalante. Shall be good.

I'm especially hype to stay because on Friday mi querida familia Albeiro got married!! Let's good, they're a family of gold and they're so fun to be around!

We went to the casa of Sebastián's mothers house and it was such a fun time, we ate a very delicious plate of alimentos and way too many treats but I love treats so it was my personal paradise. We talked for a long time and it was so awesome. We met their families and they loved having us! It was a blast. We played a little fùtbol with the children (with a 2 liter pop bottle of course(La Clásica Argentina)) and I kicked a root and jammed my big toe and it hurt extremely bad. My toe is now the size of a pumpkin but it doesn't hurt as bad anymore.

I love our guys though, they are soo elite. I'm so excited to see them be baptized!!!

Insane I'm on my last transfer, it seems unreal. I just really want to grind this transfer. It can be hard to get out there everyday, with all the distractions and excuses that Satan gives us. I'm really just trying hard to not let the excuses get in the way. My mom always said a phrase "make the hard choice" I've been saying it to myself a lot lately, it's the hard choices that we must make in order to be happy. I'm just a missionary out here trying to make the hard choices even though those choices are really freaking hard sometimes. I know the happiness and peace that the gospel brings are for those who choose the right even when the right in hard.

A solid week I hope your was too crazy that summer has started for yall. We're chilling here in the frío but I love it so we're good.

Getting Colder...

Hoolaaa

It's gotten decently cold here, so that's been good.

I went on exchanges last week and they were awesome, I went with Elder Sanchez and their house was ice cold and they don't have a heater but they do have a fire place so we got some wood and whipped up a nice fire and studied and drank mate by the fire. But don't be jealous.

Kinda a slow week not much happened, we taught a lesión with out man Victor, he recently was baptized and is crazy passionate about spreading the gospel, it's so awesome! We had a really awesome lesson with him and a kid who is discovering Jesus and it was sweet.

We had interviews this week and it was quite sad, it lasted like 30 mins because I didn't want to say bye to Presidente Judd -he shall be missed. It was a really nice interview though.

Me and my comp sang más cerca dios de ti (nearer my God to thee) at church yesterday. Twas good.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads!

Transfers are on Friday so stay tuned to see what happened!

The Promise Land

These last weeks were sick as heck, we popped off I tell you. I love San Juan, it's so hype.

We've been working with a wonderful familia, they're so awesome! they are going to get married on the 23rd and then baptized on the 1st!!! So that's super awesome!

Then we got our man Mateo who is also an extreme capo, and he's on date for the 15th!

Then we have a little girl who is also on date for the 15th!

So we have 6 people on baptism date right now and it's extremely sweet!! We're WORKING HARD with all of them to grow their faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement!!!

My comp is sooo goofy, it's so easy to mess with him and it's so fun. I'm also trying to teach him how to be an adult though, and that's less fun, but we're making progress jaja.

Ulisses Soares came on Saturday, that was soo amazing, it was just like when Elder Bednar came, where all of his words were straight bars and we're exactly what I needed to hear! Sooo sweet.

It was so fun seeing all the homes again! All the missionaries took a mission picture!!

Coolest thing ever, more than a year ago me and Elder Ovejero taught found this guy on Facebook and started teaching him (let me just say this has happened about 3 times in my while mission) anyway we got transferred out but the Elderes in Chimbas kept teaching him. One day I was chilling in the office and Elder Ovejero send me this pic of him in baptismal clothes!!! I was shocked because I didn't see to much potential I him but anyway that made my day. This week I went on exchanges with Elder Ovejero and Alexander came down to visit us! He told us he had very special news and showed us his mission call to CHILE!!!!!!! That made my year. Man it's so crazy, it made me feel really good because I feel like my mission isn't ending now, and that because of my efforts the things I did on my mission will continue to bless peoples lives not only in Argentina but also in Chile!!! Really cool experince, I'm really proud of my guy Alexander.

Little Well

I'm back in San Juan!! In Pocito (which means little well (as in woman at the well)) Very sick, I love this place! Everyone is so nice. Imagine, in 3 weeks we've met only one dude who was a little unkind! Like sheesh only one, this place is cool as heck. It's a little bit bigger than Cordón jajaja. Way bigger. It's good.

I just thought I'd say that and give a few little stories.

The sunsets are silly fire, love it!

My comp is aight, kinda whack, but chill. We're working good so don't fret. But he's new so we're working out the kinks.

There's a hot new phrase "de diez" which means "out of ten" so yall start saying it.

We got a fireeee family who are going today to see when they can get married! I'm extremely happy for my guys.

It's been really great, it's cooling down so that's "de diez", even a chilly in the noches! So nice.

We Found a grapefruit tree! T'was yummy.

Congrats to my cuz Nate who starts MTC today!!

I got My plan :(  (That is what the missionaries get when they need to start preparing to go home)

Good-bye Cordon!

Well folks, my time in Cordón has come to an end. It was a good time. It was also a wild time. Mañana I will be heading to San Juan again! I'm very excited, I love San Juan. I'll be in a more southern part called Pocito.

This week was good. We had a couple lessons, and hung out with my favorite people a bunch (Carmen & Josue of course) They fed us a meal like 4 days this week. They are so awesome, Josue was also ordained to the office of Priest in the Aaronic priesthood yesterday! I was very happy.

Matias came to Cordón and so it was good to say bye to him.

On Sunday when the familia Diaz found out I was leaving they threw us a surprise party. So my birthday is the same as my companions & the Dad of the Diaz Family! So they made sign that said "As if today was August 1st" and we ate cake and sang happy birthday hahaha it was awesome.

Great week, nos vemos en San Juan!
