All the Ditto girls just finished a BLISSFUL weekend away from real life!

We had a cooking class and made DELISH food!!

And made A Lot of crafty dealies while watching chick-flicks!

Saturday was our SPA PARTY...or should I say HEAVEN! Our only complaint...we wish it were LONGER!

This beautiful arrangement is from my mom-in-law...THANKS MOM! The truffles were AMAZING!

And thanks to my Ditto Sisters for an AWESOME weekend! I can't wait to do it again!!

September is Here!

Trying to stay true to a promise we made the kids LAST SPRING, we finally went camping! They L.O.V.E.D. it! Laynie and Addison got to sleep in their very own tent, and Hailey "slept" with us...or did she sleep at all? It sure didn't feel like it!! But no matter, we had a delightful time roasting marshmallows and going on a little nature walk!

Addison and Laynie found a large wooden wall to climb on...now Addison wants one in our back yard!

Miss Laynie finally got to start preschool!! She loves it so far and loves her teacher... it does seem to wear her out a little, so thank goodness it's only 2 hours!

I'm trying out photobucket to upload my pictures...but obviously I don't know how to do it very well! Anyway, here's a posing picture of Kelly and his brothers on the All Brother's Hike 2009! They had a blast!

Lipstick

I really only have one tube of nice (MAC) lipstick. I love it, or should I say LOVED it. While doing the dishes Tuesday night, Hailey found it...and it found her lips, cheeks, chin, nose, clothes, etc., etc.

Good thing she is so cute, otherwise I might be upset! Instead she got a little photo shoot and a bath...I hope that's not positive reinforcement for her to do this again... oh wait, I don't have any more lipstick left! Problem solved.

Happy Labor Day!

Yesterday before church I hurried to do a little photo shoot while the kids still looked cute in their new clothes from Nana. A few of them actually turned out alright...

It definitely feels like the last day of summer here...it must be barely 60 degrees right now- but I'll take it! We had a fun weekend ESPECIALLY because BYU beat Oklahoma! Go Cougs!!

Miss Hailey is everywhere lately...and has entered the stage of always having a bump or bruise on her face. I got lucky this day, because her bruise is under her chin...so the picture still looks good. She tries her hardest to keep up with the big kids and loves to make them laugh.

Addison is loving first grade- he had homework for the first time last week! While reading Harry Potter last night Addison said: "What does useless mean?"
me: "Well, Ron is talking about his rat that always sleeps and does nothing, so that means he's useless."
Addy: "So if he were awake a lot and running around he'd be 'unuseless?'"
me: "Well actually the word is useful."
Addy: "So I'm unuseless..."
me: "uh, right."
I love to see his little mind work on things.

Miss Laynie is starting preschool in just a couple of days. I've never seen a little girl more ready for school. Ever since the day she realized that Addison goes to school, she has been asking when SHE will go to school. I'm so glad to have an answer for her- THURSDAY!

She also is taking a little ballet class with a few other girls from church. They are all very cute "ballareeias" as Laynie says it.

Kelly just got back from his annual brothers hike, so I'll have him post on that! He is training now at work and enjoying that new challenge!

I am looking forward everyday to the All Girls Weekend that me and all the Ditto girls have planned for the end of September...it can't come soon enough!!
